“It is an honor to share with all of you the inauguration of this expansion of a world-class company and in Guanajuato we are proud to have you here in our territory, opening a route and giving opportunities to people” Said Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, as he inaugurated the expansion of the German company Witzenmann.
With an investment of 14 million dollars, this expansion includes the construction of a new warehouse, service areas and offices, which will make it possible to manufacture high-tech and new generation products, increasing its production capacity by 100 percent.
The new warehouse has 3,500 square meters of construction, a space that will generate 352 new jobs in the next five years, which will be added to the more than 1,200 additional indirect jobs that are estimated to be generated.
The Witzenmann company has been operating in Guanajuato since 2015 and with this expansion it has invested more than 40 million dollars in Guanajuato in 8 years.
This expansion also includes the installation of a thousand solar cells to reduce the environmental footprint through the use of clean and renewable energy.
