The Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato (UVEG) presented the course Introduction to Microcredential Design during the Second Regular Session of the ECOESAD Executive Committee, an event that brought together leaders in virtual higher education.
Rector Ricardo Narvaez Martinez emphasized that this course, developed in collaboration with the Secretary of Education, provides conceptual and practical tools for designing micro credentials that respond to the real needs of the productive sector.
“The design of a micro credential must always respond to a need within the economic sector and adapt to each education model,” said Narvaez.
With a duration of 40 hours divided into five modules, the course covers everything from fundamentals and regulations to technological platforms and evaluation, concluding with a practical exercise and the issuance of an official micro credential.
