UVEG and UPB join forces and sign alliance

This alliance will promote the participation of new opportunities for the educational community

Joint work will be done in the organization of institutional events

The Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato -UVEG- and the Universidad Politecnica del Bicentenario -UPB- have formalized a significant alliance through a collaboration agreement. This agreement aims to strengthen the link with the public and private sectors, expanding the social and economic impact of both institutions.

“Every time the UVEG signs an agreement it represents a great opportunity for us to learn. We see potential in each of the institutions, in this case the UPB, that will also allow us to make the most of that capacity, that expertise, and that talent that they have in the university. This signing is also a part of the growth of UVEG”, said Ricardo Narvaez Martinez Rector of the UVEG.

Among the highlights of the agreement are:

• Development of incentive programs: Initiatives will be created to encourage enrollment in the education offering of both universities, benefiting a greater number of students
• Dissemination of education programs: The programs offered by each institution will be promoted on their respective platforms, increasing their visibility and reach
• Joint research: Collaboration in research work and projects of common interest will be encouraged, reinforcing academic and scientific development

“We cannot provide quality education if there is no follow-up support in the issue of preparation, if we want to have the best students in Guanajuato, if we want to have the best teachers with a continuous said Isabel Tinoco Torres Rector of the UPB.

With this agreement, the Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato and the Universidad Politecnica del Bicentenario reinforce their mission of providing quality education and contributing to the comprehensive development of the community of students.
