UVEG and CANADEVI sign agreement of collaboration

They will strengthen the housing sector through 100% online programs and micro-credentialization

The UVEG Student Community will be able to expand its options for Professional Stays

With the firm purpose of creating new training and collaboration opportunities through virtual programs, as well as the implementation of micro-credentials, the Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato -UVEG- and the National Chamber of the Industry of Development and Promotion of Housing -CANADEVI Guanajuato- have signed an agreement with which they will strengthen the ties between the education and housing sectors.

The UVEG micro-credentials, one of the highlights of this alliance, will offer specialized, flexible and 100% online training, allowing housing professionals to update and certify their skills in an agile and effective manner.

Regarding this important collaboration, the head of the UVEG, Ricardo Narvaez Martinez, said, “We are very happy today, we are celebrating an agreement with the CANADEVI of Guanajuato. Thank you very much for the trust of all the businessmen who make up this chamber; for your trust in the Virtual University, because we believe that from the University we can promote the projects that you already have, among them micro-credentials is one of the great topics with which we can start”.

Víctor Manuel Franco Vargas, President of CANADEVI Guanajuato, said that “for us it is a pride to be able to generate this project. Let us remember that today at CANADEVI we have a push for the training of our sales teams, for architects, for engineers and for those who participate in the entire housing industry sector and for us it is very important to be trained and make links with universities as important as the one you are. Congratulations!”.

This collaboration agreement represents a training opportunity for the staff of the different companies that are part of the housing sector, through the 100% online Education Model of the UVEG, so they will be able to attend to their work activities while continuing with their studies, as well as reinforce their knowledge and skills with the wide range of Continuing Education programs.

While UVEG students will be able to apply their knowledge by completing the Professional Stay in an in person or virtual form, strengthen their skills and contribute to the development of a core sector for Guanajuato such as housing.
