Adriana Lopez Barberena, a professor at the Technological University of Leon (UTL), has been selected as a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (SIR) at Dallas College for the spring 2025 semester.
The Fulbright Program is a prestigious international academic exchange program founded in 1946 to foster mutual understanding and strengthening friendly and peaceful relations between the United States and other countries. Through its Scholar-in-Residence initiative, U.S. academic institutions have the opportunity to host distinguished international scholars to teach classes, develop curricula, give lectures, and promote global education collaborations.
Dr. Lopez Barberena has dedicated her career to higher education and academic research. She holds two master’s degrees, one in marketing and the other in e-commerce, as well as a doctorate in research, which has allowed her to consolidate her experience in these fields. Her participation in international research and conferences in countries such as France and Japan, as well as in various regions of Mexico, has enriched her global and academic perspective.
