Governor confirms the support of his administration to the development of the University of Guanajuato

Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, confirmed his support to the educational development of the University of Guanajuato. The Governor was at the Inform of Activities of the dean, Luis Felipe Guerrero Agripino as well as the ceremony of start of the school year.
Pride of all
“The University of Guanajuato is a reason of pride for all Guanajuatenses, our University is a place where many students are formed with a firm commitment to social co-responsibility”, said the Governor.
“It is also a promoter of artistic and cultural activities as elements that promote values and social unity, The University of Guanajuato generates trust and helps build a better future for our State”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
Capacity is tested
The pandemic caused by the Covid 19, is testing the capacity of response by the institutions to new circumstances and the UG has responded with resources as is its tradition and history, and has adapted its processes for the benefit of students.
“We should recognize the unity and strength shown by the University, to ensure the continuity in fulfilling its misión”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
A complete education environment
The Governor recognized the quality of education of the UG, its 184 programs, the increase in the number of students, the importance and timing of its investigation, creators and artistic groups.
“The number of students grew 3% at UG, compared to last year, and now 43 thousand 261 students are being educated at the classrooms of the Universidad de Guanajuato, in High School, University and postgraduate studies”, said the Governor.
“The University has advanced in positions within the ranking of the best State public universities in Mexico”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
