TV4 will promote the training of creative, highly competent professionals committed to the film and audiovisual industry through a transformative project, its own School of Audiovisual Innovation.

The aim of the TV4 School of Audiovisual Innovation is to strengthen the regional creative ecosystem through a unique training offer and strategic alliances that strengthen the position of Guanajuato at national and international level.

Through solid academic training and innovative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, the project seeks to contribute to the creative, academic, social and cultural development of Guanajuato.

Juan Aguilera Cid, Director of Tv4; Joan-Enric Ubeda, Director of the Office of the Rector of the University of Valencia; Jorge Enrique Hernandez Meza, Secretary of Education of Guanajuato and Ricardo Narvaez Martínez, Rector of the Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato, held a meeting to join forces for this ambitious project.

“Planting the seed of the TV4 School of Audiovisual Innovation has been TV4’s great dream, because we know and are sure that it will bear fruit and because it is open to everyone. What matters is the desire, the will, the wish to grow your mind and your projection,” explained Aguilera Cid.

At its last meeting, the Board of Directors of the University of Valencia approved an agreement that will allow collaboration and exchange of professional experiences in the field of communication and training, updating of knowledge and professional skills, between both parties, to support the talents in Mexico and Spain.

“There is a lot of talent, what we need to do is support it so that it becomes a professional, emerging and existing talent, give it support, reform, qualify and make the leap”, said the Director of the Office of the Rector of the University of Valencia.

The microcredential model, which will be adopted by the recently approved TV4 School of Audiovisual Innovation in the state of Guanajuato, is defined as certifications that accredit specific work or academic skills, knowledge or competencies acquired by a person through modular learning units or experiences.

Jorge Enrique Hernandez Meza, Head of the Guanajuato Education Secretary, added his effort and expertise in the field of higher education to provide official validity to the TV4 School of Audiovisual Innovation.

“The certificate provides the certainty that someone has completed a training course and knows how to do what they say they know, so if a person arrives with a microcredential, you can see on the SEG or UVEG website if they are registered with the number they give you and thus you can be sure that it is real,” explained the Secretary of Education.

Ricardo Narvaez, Director of the Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato, called to continue bringing opportunities to the people of Guanajuato and thus give a boost to all sectors, ” we can materialize the potential that we believe we have hidden, with the effect of imagination”.

The TV4 School of Audiovisual Innovation aims to revolutionize training in the industry by implementing the microcredential model, with the goal of becoming a leading project in the professionalization of talents in Guanajuato, with official validity in Mexico and in European countries, consolidating Guanajuato as a reference in creativity and technology.
