With the purpose of strengthening the financial and business capabilities of entrepreneurs in the State, Financiera y Apoyos Tu Puedes Guanajuato and the Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato (UVEG) reaffirm their commitment to provide accessible training to those seeking to consolidate or grow their productive projects.
Ivon Padilla Hernandez, General Director of Financiera de la Gente, pointed out that this strategy responds to the vision of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, to promote that more Guanajuato residents have practical tools to better manage their businesses.
“A year ago we signed an agreement with UVEG and, based on the real needs of entrepreneurs, we designed five free courses. Because it’s not just about providing funding, but about accompanying it with knowledge that helps projects move forward and become established,” said Ivon.
“Training is the bridge that transforms financial support into a real opportunity for development and growth,” said Padilla.
The Official reported that more than 4,000 people have visited the “Financial School” section available on the official website of Tu Puedes Guanajuato, -Creemosenti.com-, a platform that promotes self-employment and economic inclusion. Of these, more than 565 Guanajuatenses successfully completed the courses.
“First, we see that the issue of training remains very important. This synergy with the Financial Institution, the resources that are provided for various projects, but also the training component so that these resources are used effectively, yield more, produce more, and ultimately benefit Guanajuatenses,” said Ricardo Narvaez, rector of UVEG, who noted that these results confirm the importance of training as a fundamental part of entrepreneurship.
“The Governor has asked us to work across sectors. With the Finance Corporation, we are working on the “Digital Allies” course that Governor Libia Dennise announced, which is about to begin, and after three months we will have the best projects completed. I believe good things are coming from those people who studied at the Financier,” said Narvaez.
