Five months after it was launched, the Tu Puedes Guanajuato program has left a significant mark on the lives of thousands of Guanajuatenses.
At the opening of the direct care module in Tarimoro, Ivon Padilla Hernandez, Director General of the agency, said that today, with an active presence in 25 of the State’s 46 municipalities, the vision of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo is consolidated as a key element of social transformation, especially for women seeking to undertake their own business with autonomy and a vision for the future.
“People have accepted this financing very well, because we offer great benefits. It’s a great tool to boost and grow your businesses, or to start a business. We also have seven branches for customer service, which means we’re serving all Guanajuato residents”, said Ivon Padilla.
“It’s a financial institution that seeks to encourage people to have an income, and it’s aimed at those who have a productive project, those who have a business or who want to start one so they can continue generating local and regional economic growth,” said Padilla.
The Official reported that, to date, the Guanajuato Financial Institution has granted more than 1,600 loans in 43 of the 46 municipalities, equivalent to more than 100 million pesos, and more than 1,100 new entrepreneurs have received the one-time financial support from Creemos en Ti.
“It’s very important because people really need a boost, or as we say, a lift. The interest rate is very affordable, besides , if they make their payments on time, there’s a bonus on their payments, which would be 10 percent annually, which I think is very interesting for all Tarimoro business owners, merchants, and entrepreneurs to take advantage of. It’s a very good opportunity,” said Saul Trejo Rosas, Mayor of Tarimoro.
This initiative is expected to serve more than 100 Tarimoro residents in the first few months, facilitating their access to productive projects and clean energy and promoting the modernization of more than 50 businesses in the medium term.
The service module will be located in the Economic Development and Tourism office, in the City Hall, on Main Square 1, Downtown.
Tu Puedes arrives in Salvatierra
Jose Daniel Samano Jimenez, mayor of Salvatierra, in his message to the public at the opening of another direct service module of Tu Puedes Guanajuato, noted that this is an opportunity that many sectors of the population have been waiting for to prosper.
“It is an honor for us to work with the State Government for the benefit of all citizens, especially the beneficiaries of this program. To the best of our ability, we will continue to coordinate,” dijo Samano.
The module is in the City Hall, within the Economic Development Direction, at 408 Benito Juarez Street, downtown, with business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
With the opening of this module, the total number of municipalities with a service window is 25:
