The event Trends & Design Fashion Forum promotes the fashion that is produced in Guanajuato

The supply, tannery, shoe, leather-goods, clothing and hats sectors are involved

The Trends and Design Fashion Forum started in the Bicentenario Roberto Plascencia Saldana Theater in Leon, Mauricio Battaglia Velazquez the President of the Guanajuato Fashion cluster and CICEG welcomed Officials of the State and Local Governments, participants and visitors that came to the event to witness the best in fashion created and produced in Guanajuato.

“I would like to welcome my colleagues members of the Guanajuato Fashion Cluster: Fernando Padilla Padilla, of APIMEX; Vicente Lahud Martinez of CICUR and Hermez Villafuerte Juarez of CANAIVE Guanajuato”, said the President of the Fashion Cluster.

The welcome message extended to “our friends entrepreneurs of the productive chain, the professionals and fashion and design students who are with us”.

“We are the expression of a strong, competitive industry, a mix of fashion and design, creativity that reflects our roots, the pride of being Guanajuatense that we share with the whole world”, said Leon Mauricio Battaglia.

The President of the Fashion Cluster, said that the second edition of the Trends and Design Fashion Forum 2023 has the goal of showing the universal language of fashion and design, because it is not only a way of wearing shoes and clothes, it goes much further, it is a true way to express.

Battaglia also noted “the expression of the industries of supply, tannery, shoes, leather-goods and hats, that are part of the productive sectors of fashion in Guanajuato”.

The event has a noted participation of international experts who in conferences share their experiences.

The participating experts are:

• Karim Rashid, USA. Industrial and environmental designer, with experince in more than 40 countries and with more than 3 thousand designs in production
• Charles Jeffrey, England. A young vanguard designer who aims to reach the levels of Alexander Mcqueen and who shares how the identity and the roots, are a banner of global fashion
• Rodrigo B. Cardin, France. Creative director and nephew of Pierre Cardin, who leads the French fashion house to a new world, maintaing the essence of fashion
• Emanuele Zamponi, Italy. Designer and expert in innovation, echology and tannery, who works with global brands in topics of trends and sustainability
• Cynthia Buttenklepper, Mexico. Designer and creator of pieces with movement and a narrative where Mexico is present in all her works
• Sara Galindo, Mexico. Creator of platforms that promote the talent of Mexican and Latin American designers

• Fernanda Mena, Director of Entos a fashion brand in expansión

The Trends and Design Fashion Forum is part of the agenda of the November Month of Fashion with which the Government of Guanajuato promotes the Guanajuatense fashion both in Mexico and in the world.
