An opportunity for Collaborative Logistics is created for companies from Guanajuato to take their products to USA

The Coordinator for the Promotion of Foreign Trade -COFOCE- continues to encourage Guanajuato companies to take their products to more parts of the world and makes Collaborative Logistics available to the businesses of Guanajuato.
In a press conference at APIMEX the Project was presented, it aims to create differentiated value chains to optimize logistics costs and is aimed at starting with the fashion, clothing, footwear, supply sectors and eventually reach all economic sectors of Guanajuato.
This collaborative logistics project is created so that independent and autonomous companies work together to obtain improvements in their supply chains and form alliances or strategies with freight forwarders for consolidated shipments to the United States.
Present in the press conference were:

- Luis Antonio Vargas Zavala, Director of Digital Marketing and International Competitiveness of COFOCE
- Javier Robledo Alanis, Vice President of New Sectors of APIMEX
- Rodrigo Martinazioli, Co-founder & Head Collaboration of Blue5PL
- Katherine Medel Gonzalez, from HERME del Bajio
- Michel Martinez, from ZG Mexico Footwear
The Project aims to grant various benefits to Guanajuato companies such as:
- Lower costs, reduce CO2 emissions, shorter transit time and a lower the percentage of damage to packaging and/or products
“Today in Mexico we are in an incomparable position to take advantage of these commercial opportunities, due to our privileged position as a neighbor of our main commercial partner, which is the United States. And the logistics issue brings this offer, from COFOCE, to enter this market and compete to provoke collaboration with companies, chambers, cluster and to take advantage of this momento,” said Luis Antonio Vargas Zavala, from COFOCE.
“With this new model that COFOCE brings, we are talking about the importance of logistics in the business; logistics can be a company’s success or failure because our main consumer, is the United States and ground logistics is very important. Today they have become (logistics issues) not only means of transporting our goods, but business partners,” said Javier Robledo Alanis of APIMEX.
“We are your allies and partners in this project; We will try, as APIMEX, to support you so that companies are well trained and prepared to take advantage of these opportunities. Congratulations to those who are already a success story,” said Fernando Padilla, the President of APIMEX.
To promote this project, the strategic ally Blue5PL was presented, it is a company that was the winner of the first prize at Transport Innovation Week and was also represented at this press conference by Rodrigo Martinazioli, who answered questions from the businessmen in the evcent on how to be part of this logistics project.
