Certificates were delivered to 49 women who completed the Comprehensive Training Program for Women Stitchers.

The project, promoted through the “Becat” program of the Ministry of Economy, aims to strengthen the footwear industry in Guanajuato and provide essential tools for the economic empowerment of Guanajuatense women.

Developed in collaboration with the State Training Institute (IECA), the business sector and the Chamber of the Footwear Industry of the State of Guanajuato (CICEG), this program is part of a greater effort that will train 100 women. “This effort is part of a comprehensive strategy promoted by our Governor, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, which recognizes and values the talent of our women, who are the driving force of their families and the economy of Guanajuato,”  said Villasenor.

Also, the Ministry of Economy provides scholarships and salaries to participants during their training, guaranteeing their financial support while they acquire new skills.

The program also includes employment with leading companies in the footwear sector, post-training follow-up, and a model that promotes the professional growth of graduates.
