Three men lost were rescued safe and well after being lost during their hiking practice in the Sierra de Santa Rosa in the municipality of Guanajuato

After the coordinated search efforts of the State Public Security Secretary and Guanajuato municipal government authorities, this noon the three people who went astray during the weekend when hiking in the Sierra de Santa Rosa were located and rescued safely.
According to the first reports, the three men from the city of Irapuato, were located and finally rescued in a ravine that forms at the foot of the curtain of the Peralillo dam, in an inaccessible area of the Sierra de Santa Rosa.
Through a ground-air search operation with the participation of the helicopters of the Archangel group of the State Public Security Forces –FSPE-, it was possible to locate the three people and immediately after a check up in the place and upon establishing that they were in good health, they were transferred from the point of extraction, to the point of reunion of their relatives and the staff of the institutions participating in the search.
At that point, the three men rescued were initially assisted to undergo a rigorous medical examination and it was determined that they had no further damage to their health, since it is understood that they suffered from cold, hunger when they got lost besides they also showed symptoms of dehydration as they remained lost for more than one day.
Finally, with the support of SUEG paramedics, the three rescued men were transferred for a more exhaustive assessment to the General Hospital of the city of Guanajuato.
