Governor inaugurates Office of the Civil Registry 08 in the INGUDIS of Silao

The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, inaugurated the Civil Registry Office 08, which will serve people with disabilities, and their civil status records will be issued in Braille format.
“It is a pleasure to be here, today we are taking another step in the inclusive development of Guanajuato,” said the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo highlighted that this service is offered at the INGUDIS Center for Attention to the Visually Impaired, since here they have the experience and operability to care for people with visual impairment, in addition to supporting them with transportation from various municipalities.
“This office is going to be a success story in the implementation of Civil Registry procedures in an inclusive manner, an example of which was already experienced by Paulina Ibarra Aguirre and Cristhian Miranda Mendoza, who on this day received their civil marriage certificate issued by this office”, noted the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo also congratulated Elias Villegas Gonzalez, Daniel Omar Barrientos Alonso and Maria Concepcion Correa Tovar, whose birth certificates printed in Braille have been issued in this place.
“They are the first procedures of this type in this office, which are free; this i show is evident the work that continues to be done in Guanajuato with the inclusión”, said the Governor.
“The goal is that no one is left out of the services that we provide from the State Government. In Guanajuato we want all Guanajuatenses to have access to services and opportunities that help them live better”, said the Governor.
Since the equipment for printing civil status certificates in Braille is expensive and requires specialized handling, it was necessary to have an office to issue certificates in Braille, and the ideal place to do this is the Center for Attention to the Visually Impaired of the INGUDIS, since the population that attends said center is supported in their transport from different municipalities of Guanajuato.
“In Guanajuato work continues to bring all Guanajuatenses closer to the services offered by the State Government, proof of that is this office that will issue the civil status records in Braille”, said the Secretary of State Government, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo.
