State of Guanajuato will once again host the “Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit” in 2023, the most important sustainable and socially responsible tourism event in Ibero-America that summons each year an “army ” of opinion leaders, action and change.
“Guanajuato continues to grow and set the standard for tourism sustainability in Mexico. This wonderful state where great stories are lived, where independent Mexico was born, will once again host this great event that came to Leon for the first time this year and that today we again agree to host next year”, said Juan Jose Alvarez Brunel, Secretary of Tourism of Guanajuato.
Fernando Mandri Bellot, president of the organizing committee of the Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit, that this edition – with the central theme “El Cambio” – achieved unity, collaboration, teamwork, commitment, perseverance and actions.
The organizing committee thanked SECTUR and the Ministry of the Environment and Territorial Planning (SMAOT), the city of León, the entire team involved, and the attendees for joining forces to generate changes in society.
