The maximum expression of the Brave Culture of Guanajuato is back in the Magic Town of Salvatierra.
With the support of the Secretary of Tourism of the State of Guanajuato, through the Direction of Tourist Products, the municipality of Salvatierra will hold the Marquesada Festival next Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29, where bulfighting, artistic, cultural and culinary talent will be presented, one that can only be enjoyed in this Magical Town.
The wild party will be lived to the fullest on Friday, October 28 in a night bullfight in the emblematic Plaza de Toros La Macarena, located in the heart of Salvatierra with a first-class lineup.
The traditional running of the bulls will take place in the morning of Saturday, October 29, beginning the route at the intersection of Hidalgo and September 16 streets, continuing through Madero and ending the route on Benito Juarez street to the Plaza arena of Bulls “La Macarena”.
For the participation in the running of the bulls, it is very important to make the corresponding registration at the tables set up outside the Municipal Presidency on the day of the event, where they will be provided with a number and the registration of the participant’s personal information.
At the end of the bullfighting tour, a Gran Capea will be held, where bullfighting fans will be able to have their chance to make the best moves in the consecrated arena of the “La Macarena” bullring.
There will be a charreria gala where you can fully enjoy the national sport in the afore mentioned venue.
Music will vibrate to the maximum with a gathering of DJs that will set the scene for the “Bull Party” bringing a wide variety of musical genres on the stage in the Explanada del Carmen.
This year Huamantla, Tlaxcala is the guest of honor in a celebration that incudes an artisans exhibit in the Main Square in Salvatierra; a gastronomy event called “Marquesada Gastronomica”, also there will be musical and cultural expressions.
