Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, confirmed his support and closeness to the supplier-leather-footwear-leather goods industry, a sector that is a source of pride and is a pillar of the economic development of Guanajuato.
New Directors
The Governor led the swearing in of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of the Footwear Industry of Guanajuato 2022, chaired by Alfredo Padilla Villalpando.
“Footwear entrepreneurs have a State Government that is close to them, it is a sector that generates pride and identity, it is an industry that gives us social cohesion. You cannot understand the history of this city and this state without the shoe and tanning industry”, said the Governor.
Support growth
“We must continue supporting the companies, I have asked the Secretary of Finance not to put the resources that the businessmen are paying into the blender, we must create a revolving fund to lend those resources to companies that want to export, innovate or move ahead”, said the Governor.
Finding support
He instructed the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development to work closely with the businessmen of CICEG and the SATEG to get collaboration agreements with the SAT to speed up procedures that accelerate the entry of more workers into the productive sector.
Against illegal products
“With the arrival of the Navy and the Army at customs, it is a good opportunity to review the entry of millions of illegal pairs of shoes to Mexico, which affects the local industry, because it is unfair competition, they ge tinto Mexico without paying taxes, with an undervalued price, so there is a great area of opportunity and we ask Senators to review it together with CONCAMIN”, said the Governor.
Outstanding entrepreneurs
Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo and municipal and federal authorities, presented the Silver Charola Awards to Mario Alberto Perez Lozano, of Grasas “El Oso” and the San Crispin de Oro, to Francisco and Hector Cuadra Munoz , of the “Cuadra” Group.
