With a strong commitment to innovation, training, and attracting high-value investment, the second edition of IPC Week Guanajuato 2025 was inaugurated, consolidating its position as one of the most relevant events for the development of the electronics and industrial sectors in Mexico.
The event, which taking place from May 13 to 16 at the Richard E. Dauch Institute for Education and Development of the IECA (AAM) in Silao, is organized by the People’s Government through the Secretary of Economy of Guanajuato, the State Training Institute (IECA), and the company IPC Mexico. It will bring together business leaders, academics, students, officials, and international experts in a four-day agenda that promises to mark a turning point in Guanajuato’s industrial evolution.
Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, Secretary of Economy, emphasized that Guanajuato has established itself as a leading technology hub in Latin America. She emphasized that this achievement is the result of the vision of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, the collaboration of the economic turbine, and Guanajuato’s ability to attract investment in key sectors such as world-class manufacturing and electronics.
Salomon Ceballos Ochoa, director general of IECA, said that “this event is not only a platform for technological advancement, but also a message to the world: Guanajuato is ready to compete, to innovate, and to attract investment.”
IPC Week is part of the international IPC Day circuit, an initiative that promotes technology transfer, skills certification, and talent development in the electronics sector. This 2025 edition marks the second consecutive event held in Guanajuato, reaffirming the State’s leadership in the national industrial innovation agenda.
The event is aimed at representatives of governments, industry associations, education institutions, private companies, and neighboring governments, the goal is:
- To disseminate State initiatives aligned with global technological trends, foster innovation, investment, and competitiveness in the electronics sector, and boost the growth of the microcomponent industry
One of the key focuses of IPC Week 2025 is specialized training, and in this sense, IECA reaffirms its role as a strategic ally of the industry, providing certified, specialized training adaptable to the needs of each company from its 31 campuses across Guanajuato.
At a time of economic redefinition under the new United States administration, IPC Week arrives with a clear agenda:
- Strengthen local capabilities, consolidate Guanajuato as a hub of industrial innovation, and respond with prepared talent to the new dynamics of international trade
Unlike past editions in Ciudad Juarez and Queretaro, the Guanajuato event has transformed into a full week of activities, becoming a global benchmark within the IPC ecosystem.
The first day of the event included a conference, panels, and networking opportunities, while the following three days will focus on in-person and virtual technical training on key topics such as PCB design, PCBA electronics, Industry 4.0, return on investment in training, among other.
Guanajuato consolidates its position as a benchmark in the industry of the future with strategic vision, coordinated work, and a focus on talent.
