In an effort to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, the Innovation Institute, the municipality of Celaya, and the University of Guanajuato are strengthening their commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation with the relaunch of their Entrepreneurship Center.
This venue, strategically located in the ex Fairgrounds, is the result of a partnership with Municipal Authorities and the University of Guanajuato (UG), consolidating a collaborative model that has already yielded results since its opening in 2023.
The House of Entrepreneurship is part of a comprehensive model that combines learning, project development, hackathons, workshops, and collaborative spaces.
Juan Antonio Reus Montano, General Director of the Innovation Institute, said that the relaunch of the House of Entrepreneurship is possible thanks to the joint efforts of the municipality and the University of Guanajuato.
“As a result of our hard work, we have seven Entrepreneurship Centers available to people where entrepreneurs can develop and enhance their forward-thinking ideas,” said Reus.
Reus Montano reported that in this open, public space, they will be able to incubate ideas, receive mentorship, and develop projects focused on digital transformation, Industry 4.0, and the creative industries.
Jesus Paz Gomez, Private Secretary representing the Mayor of Celaya, said that the House of Entrepreneurship will provide strategic training to promote businesses that will have a social and economic impact in the municipality.
“The House of Entrepreneurship aims to connect entrepreneurs with technology experts, academic institutions, and others to foster a collaborative community for the growth of innovation in Guanajuato,” said Paz Gomez.
The activities of this Entrepreneurship Center allow entrepreneurs to develop strategic and technical skills that prepare them to face the challenges of an increasingly competitive and global market.
Its main activities include:
- Digital entrepreneurship, digital marketing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital design, scientific outreach, research and development, and digital content creation
