“In Guanajuato, we know and understand that we are strong thanks to the sum of our efforts. That we can do more and will go further to the extent that we understand that government and society complement each other, that the vision of both is essential to continue moving forward,” said Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo.

Libia was at the swearing-in of the Board of Directors for the 2025-2026 term of the Irapuato Business Coordinating Council.
The new beginning for Guanajuato brings with it the rethinking of objectives and goals, with a vision for the future that will allow for the creation of better opportunities for all citizens.

For the Government of Guanajuato, attracting businesses means creating jobs with decent pay, where industries collaborate with their surroundings, generating well-being in communities.
For this reason, Mayor Lorena Alfaro Garcia and the new CCEI Board of Directors, led by Jose Augusto Martinez Camarena, along with the Governor, signed the “For a Socially Responsible Guanajuato” agreement. This award commits the business sector not only to generating wealth but also to positively impacting its surroundings.

“This agreement we just signed will continue to promote values such as training companies in areas such as sustainability, workplace equity, and social responsibility, and of course, continue to promote this socially responsible company emblem,” said the Governor.

Guanajuato benefits when companies commit, the Governor said, when we commit to competitiveness, inclusion, and sustainable development, resulting in more prosperous communities, municipalities, and State.
The CCEI is made up of 11 business organizations, representing more than 3,500 entrepreneurs who generate approximately 35,000 direct jobs in sectors such as construction, tourism, commerce, industry, transportation, and real estate.
