The Guanajuato Cultural Forum, through the Museum of Art and History of Guanajuato -MAHG-, presented the call for the Research Forum Award 2024. This initiative aims to recognize, disseminate and promote relevant research in two modalities: Arts and History, with a special focus on topics related to the state of Guanajuato.
In the Arts Modality, researchers are invited to present unpublished and original works in Spanish on visual and performing arts that address issues in the State of Guanajuato.
In the History Modality, the presentation of original and unpublished historical research in Spanish is requested, also focused on the State of Guanajuato. The winning works in each modality will receive a stimulus of $100,000.00 (one hundred thousand pesos) and will be published under the Editorial Forum. In addition, honorable mentions and diplomas may be awarded to up to two additional works per modality.
The works must be presented in printed and digital format (USB) in a closed package, identified with a pseudonym, and delivered to the Museum of Art and History of Guanajuato from July 1 to September 13, 2024.
The Forum Prize 2024, opens a space of opportunity for researchers and artists to contribute to the intellectual and cultural growth of the community.
