Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo presented his 3rd Report of Activities and announced great public works in the second half of his Administration
The Governor noted the economic activity, growth and reactivation of Guanajuato

No obstacle has been able to stop the strength and push of Guanajuatenses. Together we have gone over the challenges of these times so that our State advances on the path to success. The best era of our State comes with strength and determination, said the Governor.
For the victims
Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, presented his 3rd Report of his Administration in both a virtual and in person form at the Guanajuato Bicentennial Park, where he asked all to observe a minute of silence in honor of those who have died victims of Covid 19.
The Governor said that Guanajuato is not a State that goes away from problems, “we face challenges and go over them. We are the people that achieved the freedom of Mexico, and democracy in our country, also in 30 years of good State Governments, Guanajuato turned into an economic and social power.
The Governor said that this 3rd Report is a moment to analyze our future, and the moment to be united, and this way harvest what we have planted.
Keeping the economy on the move
The Governor said that amid the Covid 19 pandemic crisis, his administration launched the State Plan of Public Works for the Economic Reactivation, with an investment of 6,500 million pesos.
“We built big and small public works in all the Municipalities of the State, a decision that generated infrastructure and jobs”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
Building bridges
Just to mention some of the most meaningful infrastructure I will mention that we made the El Pipila Bridge in San Miguel de Allende, the Tellez Cruces Bridge in Leon, the Irrigacion Bridge in Celaya and the Cibeles Bridge in Irapuato”, said the Governor.
“Some of the lost jobs have been recovered. Since June when we started the economic reactivation, and until December 2020, we recovered 10 thousand jobs. Also, through connections with companies, it was posible to find jobs for 27,300 more people”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
Investors turn to Guanajuato
The Governor said that during his Administration 61 new projects have been attracted to Guanajuato with an investment of more than 2,400 million dollars and more than 29 thousand jobs created.
For example, Wolkswagen in Silao invested 233 million dollars to manufacture a new engine for its model TAOS in North America, said the Governor.
More investment, more production
Toyota and Nestle Purina are other important companies that have increased their investments in Guanajuato.
The Governor noted the creation of the Institute for Innovation, Science and Entrepreneurship for Competitiveness, -IDEA GTO-, an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship.
