‘The automotive industry, strength for Guanajuato’

The 11th Edition of the Automotive Supply Forum 2024 is presented

“The development of Guanajuato cannot be understood without the automotive sector industry; in addition, it is a great strength for the local industry”, said Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, as he inaugurated the 11th Edition of the Automotive Supply Forum 2024, the most important business meeting in this sector in Latin America.

“We are talking about a forum like very few in this country; what a pride that it is in Guanajuato”, said the Governor.

In Guanajuato, said the Governor, there is a great impact from suppliers and much has come out of this forum, which is presented as a great opportunity to strengthen this alliance within the automotive sector.

The Governor noted the importance of this industry for Guanajuato, because it provides income and thousands of formal jobs.

Rodriguez Vallejo said that continuous alternatives are being scouted to improve the investment and production ecosystem, always focused on the well-being of the population in the search for better opportunities for talent development and, of course, income.

“In Guanajuato there is continuity in public policy to attract investments, there is a long-term plan, there is a joint vision with the citizens and that is what makes it different”.

“Guanajuato is a vanguard State because it is betting on Innovation and Mindfacture, and that is here to stay,” said the Governor.

Rodriguez Vallejo cut the inaugural ribbon of the 11th Edition of the Automotive Supply Forum 2024, which was held at the Poliforum Leon in 13,500 square meters, with 492 stands and a conference area.

For this edition, more than 11 thousand attendees were registered for the exhibition floor, business meetings and networking links.

This event links companies in the automotive sector to offer solutions to needs, an opportunity for corporate and business dissemination; supports more than 200 large purchasing companies; more than 2,500 companies specialized in national and international supply, which project 9,846 million pesos in business opportunities.

At this event, the Governor sworn in the new Board of Directors of the Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato AC (CLAUGTO), which will be chaired by Carlos Amilcar Talamantes Aguirre, for the period 2024-2026.
