Alberto Robert, originally from Celaya, Guanajuato, has stood out as a tenor singer, bringing honor to the name of his hometown. This talented artist has forged an outstanding career that began in the Monumental Choir of the Celaya Regional Delegation of the Guanajuato Ministry of Education -SEG-.
Alberto was part of the first generation of the Choir in 2009 and remained in it for seven years, where he discovered his passion for singing at an early age and began his musical training with the help of maestro Jesus Palato, founder of the Monumental Choir in the region.
Alberto currently resides in Germany, where he is part of the ensemble of soloists at the prestigious opera house in Stuttgart.
“Dedicating myself professionally to opera has been a dream come true. Perseverance is key to succeed in a field as competitive as music”, said Alberto.
The singer fondly remembers his teacher Jesus Palato, whom he considers a key figure in his training. “He inspired me and made me understand that singing could be not only a passion, but also a profession. His support was fundamental for me to be where I am today. To the new generations of the Monumental Choir and to the young people who dream of dedicating themselves to music, I advise: believe in yourselves and be constant. Dreams are not achieved just by imagining them; you have to pursue them and prepare yourself. The drop breaks the rock, and with work and dedication, everything is possible.”
Alberto deeply thanks his parents, who always supported him, and the Monumental Choir for being the foundation of his career. The singer has said that, without the choir, he would not know if he would be singing in Europe today.
With this achievement, Alberto Robert shows that the talent from Celaya has the potential to shine on the most prestigious stages in the world.
