Mobile Civil Registry units provide free service to residents

“With the flood we lost everything in our home: documentation, walls, furniture, we were very affected, and this type of support at no cost is a great help for us in these difficult times,” said Cesar Reyes, a resident of San Pedro Ibarra, who thanked the free support sent by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, upon completing the process of obtaining 5 birth certificates for his entire family.
The Secretary of Government, Jorge Daniel Jimenez Lona, with the Undersecretary of Community Services, Roberto Mario Enriquez Carrillo; the Director of the Civil Registry, Ana Victoria Torres Martinez; and the Mayor, Erick Montemayor Lara, spoke with citizens who came to carry out various procedures in the two mobile units that arrived at the main square, with a team of 15 people from different Civil Registry offices.
The Secretary of Government reaffirmed Governor Libia Dennise’s support for the Ibarra community, continuing to work with the families. This week, they will receive various aid packages from the People’s Government secretaries, including furniture, appliances, and trucks to remove dirt and debris, along with fogging efforts to combat the dengue mosquito.
Among the services provided by the mobile Civil Registry units were birth, marriage, death, and CURP certificates. During the day, the registration of little Juan Carlos, just one month old, was also carried out.
“You are not alone, we will continue to support you. This is the Governor’s instruction. It is very important to continue cleaning the area so that the health of families is not affected,” insisted Jimenez Lona.
Both the Secretary of Government and the mayor thanked the general public, the agencies, civil associations, and public servants who have joined this noble cause to assist San Pedro de Ibarra.
