The Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, and the Governor of San Luis Potosi, Jose Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, signed the framework agreement for coordination and collaboration in matters of security, for the benefit of peace and social harmony of the inhabitants of both States.
After welcoming the Governor of San Luis Potosi and his security cabinet, Libia Dennise said, “Today we are called to deliver results, to work as a team, understanding that security is a task that requires participation, and is a constitutional obligation of all three levels of government.”
“And today, we must add an additional component, which is this interstate connection, because ultimately, criminal realities know no territorial borders. And we, the authorities, must always be one step ahead,” said the Governor.
Libia Dennise reiterated her support for the government of San Luis Potosi: “We will build strong alliances to improve our region, starting, of course, with results in the area of security.”
The Governor of San Luis Potosi, Jose Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, thanked the Governor of Guanajuato for signing this agreement, and said that this agreement should yield significant results in deterring crime, once lines of investigation are already underway.
And there will be a social impact that will benefit the people of both states; the collaboration between “our governments will yield results,” said Gallardo.
Both Governors were with Security Officials of their own States.
