The Secretary of Health works to collect aid for those affected by floods in San Pedro de Ibarra

The Secretary of Health, through the State Committee of Patronages sent more than 300 support packages to affected families in Ocampo.
The President of the State Committee of Patronages and Volunteers, Grisell Quiroz, reported that this support corresponds to the call and instructions from Governor Libia Dennise Garcia, which has been and continues to be heeded.
“It’s important to us that the People’s Volunteers, of which we are a part, join these initiatives and provide support in situations where the full support of the people of Guanajuato is needed,” said Quiroz.
The Official also thanked the entire Guanajuato Health System network, civil associations such as the Leon Calzada Rotary Club, the Procestex Textile Company, the Cortes Alcala family, each donor to the Trusts and Shelters, and every volunteer who joined.

Quiroz reported that the Guanajuato State DIF System also has different collection centers in:
- Paseo de la Presa # 89 A in Guanajuato Capital
- As well as in the 46 Municipal DIF Systems, Nuevo Comienzo Centers of each municipality
The collection centers will be open from June 23 to July 31, 2025, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Those unable to bring their donations to the collection centers can call the State DIF team, staff will be able to collect donations from their homes in the State Capital.

What can be donated?
- Cleaning.- Tools, soap, detergent, chlorine, toilet paper,
- Personal hygiene.- Shampoo, toothpaste, wet wipes.
- Home.- Household goods, furniture in good condition.
- Pantry.- Rice, beans, canned goods, pasta, oil, bottled water (any presentation)
