The State Health Secretary has provided more than a thousand services at the health stand in the Leon Fair, which it shares with the State DIF, CODE and Innovation.
Health Secretary Gabriel Cortes Alcala urged people attending the Leon Fair to visit the People’s Pavilion at the health stand, which offers dental, nutritional and general advice.
Some services already provided are:

In the general consultation, diabetes and glucose, weight and height screenings are done, highlighting the importance of staying healthy today.
In dental counseling, the importance of frequent tooth brushing, the importance of going for check-ups every six months, improving hygiene habits and reducing sugar consumption are highlighted, all of which prevent the onset of diseases.
Visitors are also informed of the importance of visiting the dentist every six months, brushing your teeth three times a day and avoiding foods with a high sugar content, which are important actions to prevent oral diseases.
The nutrition module highlights how essential it is for the prevention of diet-related risk factors, such as overweight and obesity, and associated non-communicable diseases.
Visitors to the fair are informed of the importance of raising awareness about the consumption of foods and beverages with high content of critical nutrients (salt/sodium, sugar, saturated fats and trans fats) which have been associated with an increased frequency of diet-related risk factors and associated non-communicable diseases, growth retardation and deficiency diseases.
