Southern Guanajuato is growing and strengthening as a strategic region for economic development, thanks to its productive diversity, manufacturing vocation, and commercial dynamism.

Ivon Padilla Hernandez, General Director of the Tu Puedes Guanajuato Finance and Support Agency, said that, in this context, various localities began to stand out as key points for triggering regional growth, not only due to their current economic activity but also due to their potential to integrate into larger-scale value chains.

“What we, the State Government and the Municipal Government, are going to do is bring all the services of the Tu Puedes Guanajuato Financial and Support Fund to the entire population,” said Padilla.
“We are implementing what the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, said: bringing these services to every Guanajuatense resident. Let’s not forget who we are here for, let’s continue working for you, and let you see that there are opportunities in the State Government, in this New Beginning,” said Ivon.

The Official added that with the Tu Puedes Guanajuato program and with the support of the People’s Government, this initiative is a fundamental catalyst for this process.
Through financing schemes with affordable interest rates, technical support, and productive inclusion strategies, these communities strengthen their local capacities, attract new investment opportunities, and become a hot spot for economic development.

Padilla Hernandez explained that among the factors contributing to this position are the consolidation of more entrepreneurs, micro and small businesses, and the coordination of efforts between producers, new businesses, education institutions, and local authorities to strengthen the economic fabric.
Juan Carlos Martinez Calderon, Mayor of Uriangato, said that the strategic location of this area facilitates its connection to logistics corridors and distribution centers within and outside Guanajuato.

“We are working closely with the State Government, and the outcome is just around the corner, and Uriangato is going to do very well. Never in the history of Uriangato have we had so many secretaries turned to us as they have done today,” said Juan Carlos.
The module will be located at Calle Morelos #1, second floor, Colonia Centro, with business hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Decent jobs and a better quality of life
Jose Guadalupe Paniagua Cardoso, Mayor of Santiago Maravatio, said that the strengthening of these communities as emerging hubs seeks to generate decent jobs, improve the quality of life, and open new paths to shared prosperity for the entire southern region of Guanajuato.
“The truth is that today we’re going to have some interesting news, some interesting offers. I’ve always said that loans scare us, the whole credit thing, but I think that knowing how to work them, knowing how to use them, will give us quite a few benefits,” said Paniagua.
