The Governor supervises the construction of the water treatment plant and other infrastructure
If we keep working shoulder to shoulder we will have better results, says the Governor

The Government of Guanajuato invested 665 million pesos in public infrastructure in 2020 for Silao, said here the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo supervised works of construction in the Water Treatment Plant and he insisted in his support for the continuity of public works for the benefit of the population. “I am here to insist in the commitment of my administration with the families from Silao to go on working together”, said the Governor.
Better results
“I am telling you, you are not alone and good things are coming to Guanajuato and to Silao, and if we keep working shoulder to shoulder we will give better results”said the Governor.
The construction of this plant in Silao started in December 2020 and it is now at its 15% of construction and it will be finished by October 2021.
Better quality of living
This plant wil have a capacity to treat up to 100 liters of water per second, it will eliminate infection points generated by non treated water, it will preserve the health of the population and will improve the conditions of the environment.
The Governor recalled an investment for more than 70.2 million pesos, for 101 works in 30 municipalities for the handling of sewage waters from 5,928 households of vulnerable people.
More clean water
Another water treatment plant started operations at La Moncada, a community in Tarimoro with an investment for more than 70 million pesos.
Other public works where made in 2020 for up to 665 million pesos of investment in Silao among them, a remodeling of the General Hospital of Silao with 10 million pesos, the construction of the first stage of the Miguel Hidalgo School, the construction of another school in Menores, Paving of streets, another school in Santa Anita.
Works for all
Also at the IECA the Center of High Speciality was built; sports premises were remodeled and other public works were turned in to inhabitants of Silao.
