The Secretary of Government, Jorge Daniel Jimenez Lona, reaffirmed the commitment that, in the new beginning that is being built for Guanajuato, they will work more closely and as a team with all the municipalities, aware that this is an enormous challenge.
Representing the Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, Secretary Jorge Daniel Jimenez Lona, witnessed the swearing-in ceremonies of the new city councils of the municipalities of Romita, Santa Cruz de Juventino Rosas, Villagran, Uriangato and Yuriria, where a video message by the Governor of Guanajuato was shared.
The Secretary of Government emphasized that October 10 is an essential opportunity to renew the trust, hope, commitment and work that unite both society and the authorities, so it is a renewed opportunity to do things better than ever, for the well-being of the people of Guanajuato.
Jimenez Lona said that, in this task, the municipalities will never be alone, since in Governor Libia Dennise they have a great ally and from the State Government they will work alongside them, supporting efforts and promoting projects that help municipal development and strengthen the countryside and the city.
The Secretary of Government explained that this relationship will be based on 5 pillars outlined by the State Governor:
- Respect for municipal autonomy
- Governing for all, without distinctions of any kind
- Knowing that unity makes us strong
- That teamwork makes us unstoppable
- That the key is in the effective coordination of efforts
“I have experienced municipal work, I know that it is never easy, but I have also seen that, with perseverance, dialogue and team vision, it is possible to build the success that society expects, demands and deserves,” added Jimenez Lona.
“I can see the joy and renewed commitment in each of these municipalities, because I see a willingness to dialogue and work. Count on us to support you from Guanajuato, let’s make these the best years for our State, starting in each municipality, in each of the neighborhoods and in each of the homes”, said the Official.
