SEG signs collaboration agreement with Thompson Rivers University (TRU) of Canada

The Secretary of Education of Guanajuato signed an Agreement with Thompson Rivers University -TRU-, to put up a legal framework for collaboration with the Canadian education institution in the development of courses, diplomas and higher education programs of the State of Guanajuato and give impetus to the internationalization of Education.
The protocol signing of the collaboration agreement carried out in the Secretary of Education was led by Jorge Enrique Hernandez Meza, Secretary of Education of Guanajuato and Brett Fairbairn, President and Vice Chancellor, of Thompson Rivers University.
The objectives of the agreement seek to generate education institutional collaboration with the formalization of the agreement for the development of projects between the two institutions in order to promote educational internationalization.
The formalization of the agreement will offer alternatives to strengthen projects for the development of joint diplomas of the institutions, which will allow them to expand their offer with a high-value component and with an international ally.
Also participating in the event were Luis Andres Alvarez Aranda, general director of Higher Education of the SEG; Yoloxochitl Bustamante Diez, in charge of the Rectorate of the Technological University of Leon; and Daniel Jimenez Rodriguez, Rector of the Technological University of San Miguel Allende.
