On her first month as head of the Secretary of Social and Human Development of Guanajuato -SEDESHU-, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, celebrated the mothers of Guanajuato and recognized their work “because they are our strength and the heart that moves our State”.
The GTO Contigo Si Balcones de Las Joyas Center was the meeting point for the meeting of the Secretary and the mothers, where the State Official also announced that SEDESHU is working on a new support program especially for women.
“Because you are an important part of the work of the Secretary, because you are the ones who are part of our committees, you are the ones who are going to the Centers With You Yes, to be trained, to learn; you are the ones who help us with the work in the community, so it is also fair that we recognize the women of Guanajuato,” said Libia.
Libia told those present that they have a great ally in SEDESHU because the entrustment of the State Governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, was to work hard for the women of Guanajuato and promote them.
“And today, as a woman, as a mother and as Secretary of Social Development, all my work will always be directed so that your sons, so that your daughters have a better Guanajuato; so that this State is increasingly beautiful, safer, more prosperous, with more opportunities for our future generations”, said Libia.
Representing the mothers, Norma Laura Lopez thanked the State Government for this celebration and to her fellow neighborhood and community leaders she said “thank you for your work and the work you have done for so long”.
Undersecretary of Operations for Human Development, Aldo Marquez, expressed his appreciation to the mothers of families because “you are always ready to help, attentive, caring for your children, for the family. You moms, who often have to be the head of the family, have no one on your side to support you and you stand out for them. You are the ones who are changing the course of this city and the course of this State”.
“I really want you to leave from here knowing that from our Secretary we are going to work very hard for women, but that you have my commitment that we are going to work with heart and soul to make of this one a better state. Long live Guanajuato! Long live Leon! Long live its women and Happy Mother’s Day!” said Secretary Libia Dennise Garcia.
