SECTUR presented 5 quality certifications to the Guanajuato International Airport

The Secretary of Tourism of the State of Guanajuato delivered to the Guanajuato International Airport five quality certifications that increase the professionalization and continuous improvement of the agents in charge of ensuring passenger satisfaction.
Juan Jose Alvarez Brunel, Secretary of Tourism, presented Paola Olivo Moreno, Director of the Guanajuato International Airport, the badges during the Session of the 2024 Advisory Commission of the Guanajuato International Airport, where the terminal authorities presented Airport Evolution and Connectivity.
The Secretary of Tourism congratulated the efforts of the Airport staff to increase the service, quality and warmth in all spaces of the terminal that this year operates with:
- “Inclusive Tourism Seal”
- “Clean Point Quality Seal”
- “National Code of Conduct for the Protection of Girls, Boys and Adolescents in the Travel and Tourism Sector (CCN)”
- “Moderniza Distinction”
- “National Tourism Quality Distinction”
All of these certifications are operated by SECTUR, through the Tourism Competitiveness Directorate, with the Certification Program, in which improvement actions are implemented, providing advice and connection for accreditation to state, national and international seals, badges and certifications.
The National Tourism Quality Distinction is the most advanced expression of a Comprehensive Tourism Quality Model that the Federal Tourism Secretary grants. Its objective is to promote quality, social responsibility, sustainability and continuous improvement in the national tourism sector, achieving the total satisfaction of tourists, guaranteeing their return and the attraction of new markets.
