Mindfacture is one of the key programs to take Guanajuato to the next level and leave behind the manufacture

The Secretary of Education of Guanajuato (SEG) launched the event Mindfacture: Forming in Science, Creativity and Innovation, a space of communication through which students, professors and investigators who teach in the level of medium superior and superior education participate and share their experiences in education of majors like Robotics. Digital inclusion and Science Olympics.

A ‘robotic’ welcome

The ceremony was broadcast on www.mentefacturaeducaciongto.com and on the social networks of SEG, State Education Authorities were present in the event.

“Osmo” was present at the opening of the event, Osmo is an interactive robot and ‘he’ was the special guest and welcomed all participants.

Students and teachers of the future

Emmanuel Israel Reyes Pablo, the under-secretary of Medium Superior and Superior Education, speaking on behalf of the Secretary of Education of Guanajuato said that “Our State needs students and teachers that persevere, who are flexible, creative, empathetic and curious to know more, and also that have a social commitment”, said Reyes. “For the Government of Guanajuato, education in the XXI Century must respond to the new needs in a global society that is inter-connected and in constant change”.

Honors to pioneers

The event is held from November 24th to the 26th and it will include conferences, exhibition and practices of technology in education, as well as a space to honor the students that have represented Guanajuato in the Science Olympics.
