In Travel + Leisure’s annual “World’s Best Awards” survey, more than 186,000 readers cast more than 700,000 votes on more than 8,700 premises, hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines and more, sharing opinions about travel experiences around the world.
The World Heritage City of the State of Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, was the most voted destination.
Juan Jose Alvarez Brunel, Secretary of Tourism of Guanajuato, congratulated the Sanmiguelenses and the tourism sector for this valuable recognition that elevates the State of Guanajuato, the Greatness of Mexico.
The score that readers gave to this charming city is:
