The Governor announces that he will allocate 30 million pesos to this municipality to close the year with more works. Resources benefit families from 95 communities in Salvatierra

Governor of Guanajuato Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, delivered solar heaters and visited the construction site of rural roads that improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of Salvatierra.
“People of Salvatierra have all our support, here are the facts, and to close the year with more works, we are going to allocate another 30 million pesos in this municipality,” said the Governor.
Today, 1,095 solar heaters are delivered, benefiting more than 5,000 inhabitants of 95 locations in this municipality, noted the Governor, who was Mayor of Salvatierra, German Cervantes Vega.
8 million pesos are invested in this program, in equal parts by the State and the Municipality, said the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo said that these solar heaters mean a reduction of between 70 to 80% of gas consumption in homes. In addition, they contribute to the protection of our environment because, by not burning wood or gas, greenhouse gas emissions are mitigated.
The Governor noted that thanks to this program, the state of Guanajuato is ranked 2nd nationally in homes that have a heater.
The delivery of these solar heaters was in the North Sports Unit where the Governor announced that 38 million pesos will be allocated to complete the auditorium located on this site.
The Governor supervised the paving work on Corregidora Street and the rehabilitation of the rural road to the pantheon of the San Nicolas de los Agustinos community.
The paving is made with an investment of 9.6 million pesos, jointly by the State and Municipal Administration.
The Governor also visited the works for the rehabilitation work on the Ojo de Agua de Uireo rural road and the paving works on Independencia Street. 6.4 million pesos are invested along the way, of which 5.8 million are state resources and almost 650 thousand are from the Municipality.
Also the Ojo de Agua rural road from Ballesteros to San Nicolás de la Condesa is being rehabilitated. “With these works we are contributing to improving people’s quality of life, as well as reducing travel times between our communities. In addition, they will be able to travel with greater safety and comfort,” said the Governor.
The Governor also delivered the Retirement House in Salvatierra that benefits the retired teachers of this municipality and Tarimoro and Santiago Maravatio.
In the Retirement House services such as cooking, painting and beauty classes, sports and artistic activities, conferences and free health check-ups, among others will be provided. The Governor announced that one million pesos will be allocated to improve the patio of this Retirement Home, which includes the placement of a roof.
