Governor delivers and supervises works for 100 million pesos in Romita

On a work tour, the State Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, supervised and delivered works worth nearly 100 million pesos to improve the quality of life of more families in Romita.

“It is a pleasure to be with you, to show you with facts that you have all our support, and we will continue working together with the Municipality to do more actions and works in the neighborhoods and communities of Romita,” said the Governor who was with Mayor of Romita, Oswaldo Ponce Granados.

The tour began with the supervision of the progress of work on the main street of the community Valenciana de Gavias, in which 8.1 million pesos were invested with State resources.

The rehabilitation work on the Gavia de Rivas rural road was supervised; this work will speed up vehicular traffic and give more security to the people of this community. The total investment is 5.5 million pesos, of which 3.8 million is a State contribution.

The rehabilitated roads in Romita are El Marmol 2nd stage, Las Lajas, Reyes de San Jose, San Miguel de Guaricho 2nd stage and Tuna Agria, in the latter 5 million pesos were allocated, and also in this community the rehabilitation of the Drinking Water System in which 2.5 million pesos were invested.

The Governor delivered educational infrastructure at the Candido Navarro elementary school and the Paulo Freire kindergarten in the community of Lourdes.

The Governor with Mayor Oswaldo Ponce, delivered the paving of Alamo, Laurel and Francisco Villa streets, which were done with municipal resources.

Nochebuena and Jazmin streets were also monitored, where the State contributes an investment of 7.8 million pesos and the Municipality 5.3 million pesos.

The Governor delivered the rehabilitation works of the Tocosurgery Area of ​​the Romita Community Hospital, in addition to supervising the expansion and remodeling works of the Emergency Area.

57.7 million pesos are being invested in these works that benefit more than 48 thousand women and children without social security.

With these actions the State Government works to keep Guanajuato with the best state public health system in Mexico, said the Governor.

The Governor supervised the modernization of the access to Romita. A work that will first of all improve roads, but will also be providing greater safety to pedestrians, since much-needed sidewalks will be built.

“In this work that will improve the urban image of Romita we are investing 6.8 million pesos through our Secretary of Social and Human Development”, said the Governor. “Also delivered was the first stage of the rehabilitation of Romita–Irapuato Boulevard, done by our Secretary of Infrastructure, Connectivity and Mobility. The work consisted of the rehabilitation of 600 meters of pavement based on asphalt concrete. The investment allocated to these works was for 8.9 million pesos”, informed the Governor.
