The Secretary of Tourism of the State of Guanajuato, through the Direction of Attention to Specialized Segments, and leaders in the organization of congresses, conventions, corporate events and incentive trips of 5 Guanajuato destinations participate in the IBTM (The Global Meetings & Incentives Exhibition) Americas.
For 6 years, IBTM has been a great showcase for the promotion of the MICE segment offered by the destinations of:
- Leon, Irapuato, Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende and Celaya
In addition, it has been a bridge for doing business and networking with the entire community of professionals in the meetings and events industry.
In this event at Citibanamex in Mexico City, SECTUR and the value chain of the meetings industry -through workshops- promote destinations, infrastructure, suppliers and all services related to the organization of events in Guanajuato in order to attract new projects and/or events that generate a benefit to the value chain that makes up this segment.
In addition, given the current health situation, the State and the destinations explain that Guanajuato is a destination prepared to serve tourists on biosecurity issues. Driven by SECTUR, tourism service providers implemented the “Distintivo Guanajuato Sano” in their business centers, which establishes Good Practices to protect health.
