SEDENA informs about the arrival of more elements of the Regional Task Force in Guanajuato.
The National Secretary of Defense –SEDENA- through the Commands of the XII Military Region and the 16th Military Zone, informed Guanajuatenses about the arrival of 300 elements of the Mexican Army members of the Task Force of the III Military region to Guanajuato.
The military force comes to work with the activities Authorities are already doing in Guanajuato, the group of military elements are to be deployed in Apaseo El Alto, Apaseo El Grande and Comonfort, with the task of reducing the crime rate in those municipalities.
The military elements will reinforce the activities in Public Security developed by the authorities of the three levels of Government –Federal, State and Municipal- in order to inhibit ilegal activities and strengthen the inter-institutional actions, acting at all moment in full respect of human rights.
With these actions SEDENA confirms the commitment to watch and safeguard the well being of citizens to guarantee peace and security of Guanajuato.
