Purisima trains staff of the tourism sector

Purisima del Rincon continues to strengthen its competitive edge through specialized tourism industry training and drive the growth of the tourism sector

In a strategic move to foster a more professional and competitive tourism landscape, Purisima del Rincon successfully hosted a high-impact training session for the local hospitality sector.

The event was held at the Eco Parque Cañada de Negros, now rebranded as Reserva Cañada, bringing together more than 25 key service providers.

The workshop saw active participation of hotel representatives, travel agencies, and restaurateurs from the City, as well as the strategic hubs of Canada de Negros and Jalpa de Canovas—the latter recognized both as a Pueblo Mágico (Magic Town) and a Best Tourism Village. Industry players from other parts of Guanajuato State also attended, highlighting the regional importance of the initiative.

The curriculum focused on modernizing the industry through:

• Advanced reservation systems to streamline operations
• Strategic tourism promotion to attract global travelers
• Digital platform integration to enhance market presence

These efforts aim to optimize business management and increase the economic impact within the community. By adopting these tools, Purisima del Rincon is positioning itself as a destination for high-quality, responsible, and sustainable tourism.

This initiative was possible through the coordinated efforts of the Municipal Tourism Direction and the Guanajuato State Secretary of Tourism.

Roberto Camargo, Director of Tourism for Purisima del Rincon, expressed his satisfaction with the high level of engagement. He emphasized that these actions align with the mandate of Mayor Roberto Garcia Urbano to revitalize both the social and tourism sectors.

The ultimate goal, Camargo noted, is to ensure that every visitor experiences professional, world-class service while exploring the riches of the municipality.
