For the second day La Judea was presented at Purisima del Rincon and it will continue this Good Friday as Authorities and society honor Hermenegildo Bustos and his legacy in this city.
The biblical and imaginary characters went around the city chasing Jude as they went in and out of different areas and streets.
Some 650 actors took part in La Judea on its 151st anniversary on this Good Thursday, the enactment started at 11am in the House of Culture, and the group went all the way to the cemetery as many Purisimenses joined the enactment.
Local authorities took part in the procession and also honored and recognized Hermenegildo Bustos and all those who have died and were important part of the La Judea celebration.
This is the 151st year that La Judea is celebrated in Purisima del Rincon, and now it is going even beyond Mexico’s borders.
