Another goal is to directly benefit up to 7,526 people with the Temporary Job program

The State Government put up a program for 456 million pesos to support the Mipymes and protect local entrepreneurs

The State Government started different actions of financing through the program “Economic Support to face the crisis of Covid 19”, where they note the 456 million pesos to support the Mypimes and protect the productive industry of Guanajuato, besides generating Temporary Jobs for more than 7 thousand people.

There is a total amount of resources for 800 million pesos, from the 0.3% of the tax on payroll from 2019 and 2020 to face this emergency, said in a press conference the Srecretary of Financies, Investment and Administration, Hector Salgado Banda, with Salgado was also the Secretary of Economic Sustainable Development, Mauricio Usabiaga Diaz Barriga.

Diaz Barriga said that the State Government structured 5 financing projects to support the Mypimes and to protect the local industry.

United Merchants; Adapt your Business; Ahead with your Business, Maintain your Job and Guanajuato Contigo.

Then, he explained, there are Productive Projects, like Productive Impulse to diversify income for up to 45 thousand pesos per applicant, and which will be granted through the State DIF, the Secretary of Economic Sustainable Development, the IMUG and SEDESHU. The lines of credit are designed for natural persons or companies, and the Temporary Job program.

Temporary Job

This last project is for people who are over 18 years old and who lost their job or are self employed, said Diaz Barriga.

United Merchants

The United Merchants program has as its goal to benefit people who belong to associations of merchants or services. The strategy is to grant credits of 10 thousand pesos and up to 40 thousand pesos, with an interest rate of 4.8 per cent a year. Weekly payments for 22, 30 or 40 weeks, said the Secretary.

Adapt your Business

The other program is Adapt your Business, it is a credit to make it easy to acquire transport equipment, logistics or sale point terminals for companies or businesses. The strategy is to strenghten the sale on site and maintain the trade and services active.

Ahead with your Business

The next program described by Diaz Barriga is Ahead with your Business, a credit for working materials and work capital. Its goal is to make easy the purchase of materials and working capital for businesses. It tries to provide an immediate credit to maintain the supply of merchandise and stay active in the market.

Maintain your Job

Then comes Maintain your Job, it is a financing to the payroll. GTO Contigo

“We have the program Social Productive Impulse and Infrastructure to diversify the income of entrepreneurs and economic units, the goal is to support with basic and essential productive packages that help start and strenghten the comercial, industrial or services activity; to those who don’t have a job, with support to acquire equipment and attention to vulnerable population”, said the Secretary.

“Based on the petitions from entrepreneurial organisms for the payment of the Payroll Tax there will be a grace period for contributors for the payment of April and May 2020 that corresponds to the taxes to be paid for March and April, respectively”, said the Finances Secretary.
