The Government of Guanajuato, private companies and universities join efforts to strengthen the transition towards “mind-facture”
More universities join the program to connect campuses and companies in improving the quality of education and training for the benefit of students and teachers

The Secretary of Innovation, Science and Superior Education signed an agreement of collaboration with Siemens called “Towards Educative Innovation for the Digital Transformation in Guanajuato” that will benefit 5 thousand teachers and students in the State.
In order to increase the percentage of students of superior education with at least a certified competence in their professional profile 1,160 certification tickets will be available on competence on software of Solid Edge 2020.
The tickets will be distributed in 13 institutions of superior education to certificate students and teachers, with a licencing type campus that will allow teachers and students to have this tool available for them.

The Secretary of Innovation, Science and Superior Education (SICES), Eusebio Vega Perez noted that we always talk about the connection between a university with a company, but this time we are not talking about one, but the total of the institutions registered or with some agreement with SICES.
The rectors of the universities of the State, will help us form this great Alliance for the benefit of teachers and students, said the head of the Secretary.
Vega Perez said that the agreement will make it possible to get licenses of the suite Solid Edge 2020, which is a tool used on education and lets institutions of superior level use the platform and its contents of training and formation in the different certification levels.

Alejandro Canela Martinez, vice president and Country and Region Manager for Mexico and Central America of Siemens Industry Software, said that not the companies nor the Government can do it alone to advance at the pace the technology is advancing, that is why it is necessary to be united “we can´t do it alone”.
