Today IDEA GTO in collaboration with the Municipality of León held the second evaluation phase of the Mindfacture 2023 Awards, in order to select the finalists for this important award.
The objective of the Mindfacture 2023 awards is to recognize, highlight and celebrate the actors belonging to the Valley of Mindfacture for their outstanding actions in the areas of entrepreneurship, technology, applied science and innovation.
The call had several categories in which there was a registration of:
- 61 participants
- 8 in the Public Innovation category
- 15 in Triple Impact Innovation,
- 16 in Inspiration and Promotion of a Conscious Ecosystem
- 8 in Science with a Purpose
- 14 in Impact Solutions
During the session, the semifinalists had to present their achievements in recent years that have impacted the society of Guanajuato, highlighting the use of their knowledge at the service of others.
“Today we have in common that from our trenches we are generating, different actions to improve the life of someone else, this is the Mindfacture, recognizing that the degree of innovation can be from the process to the project itself, which can be spectacular”, said Ana Luisa Loza, Director of Entrepreneurship and Dynamization at IDEA GTO.
“Actions like this promote the connection and development of those involved, in the municipality of Leon, thanks to the Mayor Alejandra Gutierrez, we are clear that the actions to be carried out must be centered on the person with a clear path of action and true impact”, said Carlos Torres Barrientos, Director of Innovation of the City of Leon.
The award of the 5 medals corresponding to each category, plus two medals that will be delivered by trajectory will be on April 21st, within the celebration of the day of the Mindfacture, an event that will be held on April 20 and 21 in the Auditorium of the State in Guanajuato City, and where there will be first-level talks and conferences.
