They boost the Romita field with productive support and fertilizer

With an investment of more than $4.3 million pesos, the Secretary of Agro-Food and Rural Development -SDAyR-, in coordination with the municipal government, provided productive support and fertilizer to producers in Romita.
Paulo Banuelos Rosales, Secretary of Agro-Food and Rural Development, highlighted that this support comes to Romita at a time when it will be very helpful, since throughout Guanajuato they expect abundant rains so that their lands can begin to produce.
“What we do want is that producers have no doubt that the government of Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo is accompanying them in the face of any difficulty and, above all, is providing them with support to improve their conditions”, said the head of SDAyR.
Mayor Osvaldo Garcia thanked all the support provided by the State, and said that the Governor has been sensitive and has sent resources for all needs.
The support that was delivered this day consisted of:
- 470 productive supports from the Mi Familia Productiva y Sustentable program, including nixtamal mills, packages of 15 birds each
- Ecological stoves
- Packages of sheep bellies
- Airtight silos
The investment was for:
- $2 million 351 thousand 664 pesos
- SDAyR contributed $1 million pesos
- The Municipality $999 thousand 457 pesos
- Beneficiaries $352 thousand 206 pesos
Producers also received:
- 186.9 tons of urea through the Support program for the Strengthening of a Technological Package
- To cover 1,244 hectares
- To benefit 452 production units
- With a total investment of $1 million 999 thousand 830 pesos
- SDAyR and the Municipality contributed $799,932 pesos each
The beneficiaries contributed $399,966 pesos Productive support will serve to boost the family economy and backyard activities in rural areas; while with fertilizer the aim is to help producers with production costs in the agricultural cycle that is about to start.
