As part of the promotion of creative talent and youth entrepreneurship, the State Institute of Training (IECA) accompanied the delivery of four DIMACO brand industrial sewing machines to designer Julia Fernandez, winner of Moda In Episode 2, tools that will allow her to start her own workshop and consolidate her project within the fashion sector.

The delivery was made possible thanks to the company DIMACO, as a result of the collaborative work between the productive sector, civil society and the People’s Government, led by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, to generate real opportunities for economic growth and social development.

DIMACO’s director, Mauricio Ruiz, highlighted the importance of supporting these types of initiatives that strengthen local talent: “For us, it is a pleasure to support this connection with BJXMODA and IECA; as a company, we believe in promoting the personal and commercial growth of designers so that they have a better future,” he said.

Representing the Director General of IECA, Salomon Ceballos Ochoa, was Cristobal Garcia, emphasizing that Moda In is a project that transforms lives through training and professional development.

“This project not only generates economic transformation, but also social transformation. Training is where the skills that allow young people to broaden their horizons and find new opportunities are born,” said Garcia.

Raul Fabricio Ibarra Rocha, acting head of the Undersecretary for the Development of MSMEs, represented the Secretary of Economy, who reaffirmed the institutional support for this type of project that strengthens the productive fabric and local entrepreneurship.

Designer Julia Fernandez expressed her gratitude for the support she received during her training and the backing to continue her professional development: “Moda In is a program that guides you every step of the way: training, materials, and practice. I am very happy to be growing my workshop and grateful to BJXMODA and IECA for believing in my talent,” she said.

Guanajuato has established itself as a national and international benchmark in sectors such as hat making, leather goods, footwear, textiles, clothing, accessories and handicrafts, and projects like Moda In strengthen this productive vocation by promoting new generations of designers and entrepreneurs.

With actions like this, the IECA, in coordination with BJXMODA , the Secretary of Economy and the private sector, reaffirms its commitment, as instructed by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, to continue promoting training, self-employment and Guanajuatense talent, positioning Guanajuato as a competitive and creative State in the world.
