Intervention is done on almost 400 metres of the Valenciana–El Cubilete highway
35 million pesos have been invested in slope stabilization over the last year

As part of the state investment of more than 35 million pesos that the Ministry of Public Works -SOP- has made during the last year to carry out slope stabilization, work is currently being carried out on the Valenciana–El Cubilete highway, aiming to avoid accidents and guarantee the safety of users who travel on this road.
With a physical progress of 92%, the project, led by the company Construcciones Mozado, SA de CV, has an investment of 4.4 million pesos and covers almost 400 meters of stabilized slopes.
“These types of actions are very important because, although they are not flashy works and in fact many times no one knows or notices that we are working on them, they are vital to guarantee the road safety of drivers and this is an issue that our governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo has asked us a lot about, to generate works and actions with real benefit for the people”, said the head of the Public Works Secretary, Juan Pablo Perez Beltran.
Juan Pablo Perez Beltrán noted that this type of work also promotes safe and efficient mobility.
Work on the Valenciana–El Cubilete highway began on September 2, 2024 and is scheduled to be completed in the last week of January, which will improve road safety conditions for residents and visitors alike.
