More than 75 local companies participated in the second edition of Supplier Day, a joint effort of the State Government and the Italian company Pasubio, as part of the State Economic Development Strategy 2024–2030.

This initiative seeks to boost local supply, strengthen the industry’s value chain, and position Guanajuato’s talent as a strategic ally for major investments.

This meeting is part of the State Industrial Connection Strategy, promoted by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, which allows Guanajuato MSMEs to schedule business meetings with companies already established or that recently invested in the State to present their products, services, and capabilities, with the goal of integrating them into their supply chains.
The Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, emphasized that “our local supply is a priority. Guanajuato has talent, experience, and a network of highly professional companies, ready to respond to the challenges of global industry. This strategy facilitates MSMEs’ access to large corporations and aligns their processes with international standards.”

Supplier Day boosts the competitiveness of local businesses by integrating them with new national and international investments, allowing them to grow and diversify.
This business meeting brought together 76 supplier companies, which offered a wide range of products and services, from industrial components, technical equipment, and specialized services to industrial clothing, cleaning, transportation, and maintenance.

Pasubio, a company specializing in leather for automotive interiors for premium brands such as BMW, Maserati, Stellantis, Volkswagen, and Skoda, officially opened its plant in Leon on March 3, 2025, in the PILBA Industrial Park. This project represents a $13 million investment and will create 540 direct jobs over the next five years.
In the meeting, Pasubio discussed networking opportunities, and among the solutions presented by local suppliers were capital goods, basic equipment, specialized industrial supplies, technical and general services, industrial components, and industrial protective materials and clothing.

The Industrial Connection strategy is part of the inclusive, competitive, and internationally-promoting economic model promoted by the People’s Government, which places Guanajuato’s MSMEs as key players in industrial growth.
The initiative makes of Guanajuato a reliable investment destination and a solid platform for the development of local companies with a global vision.
