Nurses in Leon are celebrated

The Secretary of Health of Guanajuato thanked the 415 professional nurses that work for the community in León

The Secretary of Health recognized 415 nurses of Leon on the occasion of the International Nursing Day.

In this commemoration, Health Jurisdiction VII carried out the Nursing Care Module at the First Level of Care, an event designed to honor the fundamental role that nursing professionals play as leaders in the comprehensive care of the population, within a standardized care model.

The event served as a platform to address a diversity of topics related to the responsibilities and functions of our nurses, highlighting essential actions for patient safety, the nursing care model, leadership in the nursing field, and the promotion of mental health in the workplace.

The daily activities of these outstanding professionals include the development of vaccination programs in collaboration with the staff of their units and local authorities, as well as guaranteeing the protection of the health of our population.

The commitment of these health workers is evident in their active participation in health promotion sessions, in addressing epidemiological contingencies, in updating and distributing the national vaccination card, in collaborating with doctors and assisting in surgical treatments, as well as in the provision of general care to the patient, among other essential functions.

On this significant day, the Ministry of Health thanked all the nurses of Sanitary Jurisdiction VII for their unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of our community and said that their tireless work and dedication are fundamental pillars in the construction of a solid health system oriented to the service of the population.
